Updated BBB4 Offers Efficiency and Optimization for Screw Conveyor DrivesMay 6, 2016
In continued support of the Cyclo® Bevel Buddybox® 4 (BBB4), SMA releases the CEMA compliant BBB4 Screw Conveyor Drive (SCD). The BBB4 SCD is the ideal solution for screw applications in Grain, Wastewater Treatment, Material Handling, and Food & Beverage.
The BBB4 SCD is available in NEMA C-Face adapter or our newest IE3 Integral Motor Design. It features the Cyclo® input, our patented toothless gearing solution, capable of handling up to 350% shock load. The motor design option eliminates the costly need for v-belt, sheaves, bushings, and guards, making the BBB4 SCD more efficient, compact, and safer with a lower total cost of ownership.
To create a great customer experience and provide answers to our customers' questions, our Technical Support Team is ready to assist with new opportunities. For existing applications, our Product Support Group (PSG) is equipped to handle the toughest jobs-from retrofitting to simple unit repairs-PSG is the after-market solution. "We want to ensure each customer has a direct line of communication for support before, during, and after the purchase." - Kevin B., Business Development Manager
